At Rasmussen college, we're really proud that over 85% of our students are working within their field of study or continuing their education towards that goal. You don't just compare that, for instance, to a national unemployment rate. How many people can actually say that they're working in a job in an industry that they have chosen? So really, it's a remarkable statistic.
One of the things I'm most proud of is the passion that our career service advisers bring to the job search with our graduates. They really form a partnership with our students. It can be challenging in this economy to look for a new opportunity, and so our career service advisers are there to motivate them at times and certainly help them understand what are the key skills that employers are looking for and then connect them directly with employers in our community.
So as a career services adviser, our goal is the same as our students and our graduates. It's to help them find employment in their field of study. So we provide a number of different resources to help them do that. We host in campus events and we also host events online. So we have a number of different resources that we used to really ensure that our students are successful and helping them find work in their chosen career field.

Placement Rate Methodology: 85% of March 2011 to December 2011 graduates available for employment were employed in their field of study or continuing their education as of September 30, 2012. This rate includes graduates across all Rasmussen College programs and campuses working in their field of study or continuing their education at Rasmussen College or another institution. This rate does not specify that each graduate was placed by Rasmussen College in their current position; some graduates find jobs on their own while others maintain previously held employment.
Time to completion is dependent upon number of credits transferred in and number of credits taken per quarter.
Employer information was reported by Rasmussen College graduates and confirmed on or after 30 days of employment. This list does not constitute an endorsement of Rasmussen College by the organizations listed.
In a July 2012 survey, 76% of the 167 December 2011 graduates who responded answered “yes” to the survey question, “Did your education at Rasmussen College help you advance your career?"
