Find answers to medical questions that are both routine and incredible with a medical lab tech degree

Medical laboratory technicians are the highly skilled professionals that perform diagnostic testing to provide information that is essential for answering important medical questions. Diagnosing illness and diseases, cancer research, and determining the effectiveness of new drugs are only a few of the areas that would be impossible without tests performed in the laboratory.
Earning a blended online and classroom degree in Medical Laboratory Technology will prepare you for an important and in-demand career in healthcare. The work you do may be “behind the scenes,” but you'll play a critical role on the healthcare team and your efforts will better the lives of many.
A Medical Laboratory Technician degree is a great option if you are looking for a fulfilling and respected career in the healthcare industry that also requires limited patient interaction.
Medical lab technicians may be considered "microscope nerds," but their work is invaluable to the medical decisions made by physicians. As a medical lab tech, you'll be responsible for performing lab tests efficiently and accurately - lab tests that could provide research about life-threatening diseases or even save the life of another person.
