Medical Lab Technician Courses

Graduates of Rasmussen College's  medical lab technician program will know how to perform clinical laboratory procedures, how to type and cross match blood for transfusions, and understand anatomy and pathophysiology.  You'll also learn how to operate and maintain medical lab equipment and adhere to the safety standards and practices within this healthcare field.

Introduction to Clinical Laboratory Science
You will learn all of the areas of the profession and the various career opportunities available.

Clinical Chemistry I
You will perform chemical analysis on specimens and begin to learn the instrumentation used in the medical lab.
