Honoring - Jessica
I think this is great and very informative...but it isn't exactly honoring anyone by sharing statistics. My husband is a police officer and what he appreciates more is just a simple thank you, or job well done. Too often police officers are put into a bad light because nobody likes to get caught doing something wrong let alone be handed a fine to go with it.

One day of a police officer's life may contain more variety than most people experience in a week. In my opinion, traffic ticket enforcement should be left to dedicated "traffic officers". Hopefully it will allow others more room to specialize on their task.
