Our Brooklyn Park, MN college campus is located northwest of Minneapolis in Hennepin county, just off Highway 169 and Interstate 94, serving people living in the twin cities metro community, including Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center, Maple Grove, Champlin, Plymouth, Coon Rapids, and Osseo, as well as greater Minnesota. Nestled between the always popular Edinburgh Golf Course and one of the area’s most visited shopping havens, Northtown Mall, our campus allows students to enjoy the variety of restaurants and retail businesses, and out-of-town visitors appreciate the closeness to hotels and the airport.

The Brooklyn Park campus offers a degree programs for students who want to earn a certificate, diploma, associate’s, or bachelor’s degree to help them start a new career, advance their current career, or make a career change. Rasmussen College has six schools, and each school focuses on providing students with the training they need to hit the ground running when they begin their job.

Students choose our School of Technology and Design for our advanced curriculum, well-known faculty, and new state-of-the-art Tech & Design Center that houses some of the industry’s most advanced equipment used in the technology and digital design industries. With degree options including Information Systems Management, Digital Design and Animation, and Game and Simulation Programming, students can delve into their areas of greatest interest.

The School of Business provides degree options ranging from accounting and healthcare management to business management and administration with specializations in marketing and sales, human resources, Internet marketing, and many other in-demand career areas. Our degree programs develop students to work as successful managers in today’s constantly evolving business world.

Our School of Nursing offers on campus classes for a Practical Nursing Associate’s Degree that prepares graduates to take the NCLEX-PN, as well as an RN to BSN online degree program that allows registered nurses to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Applications for our well-respected School of Nursing programs are accepted throughout the year. Our programs are rigorous and entrance is competitive, but we recognize and offer no waiting list for well-qualified students.

Students in our School of Justice Studies are afforded degree options that help them become leaders within their local, state, as well as national locations. With Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees that include Law Enforcement, Human Services, Criminal Justice, Paralegal, and much more, our graduates earn a degree that helps them start a rewarding career and keep their community safe.

Our School of Allied Heath offers associate’s degrees in Health Information Technician, Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Technician, and many other in-demand degrees that help our graduates start careers within hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and other reputable healthcare employers.

The School of Education gives students the opportunity to earn a degree to jumpstart their career goal of becoming an early childhood educator. Students can specialize in Child & Family Studies, Child Development, Special Needs, and English Language Learners to help them gain a career advantage in the area where their passion lies.

Our new state-of-the-art Tech & Design Center

The Brooklyn Park campus features a high-tech facility dedicated to our School of Technology and Design students. This facility provides students with a unique, advanced, and exciting education experience. To help students hit the ground running when they begin their new technology or digital design career, our Tech & Design Center includes some of today’s most advanced hardware and software:

  • CyberPower PC lab with Intel i7 processors: ideal for ultra-fast graphics processing and intense number crunching
  • Designer’s dream iMac lab: equipped with a full complement of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Fully-stacked IT labs with mobile hardware racks: provides a total hands-on learning experience
  • Dedicated green screen lab: overlay real video footage onto virtual reality backdrops

Student technical, academic, and career support services

Like all of our campus locations, the Brooklyn Park campus offers student support services to help you succeed both in the classroom and in your career.  With thousands of library resources online and in full text, tutoring available both on campus and online, limited enrollment in specific classes to keep class sizes small, computer labs available to all students, personal technical support available 24/7, subject matter expert librarians, and instructors who care about the success of their students, you can receive the academic support and tools you need, when you need it. Plus, our career services advisors will help you develop your resume, perform mock interviews, and help you in your job search so you can find a position that is right for you.

The Rasmussen College Brooklyn Park campus is dedicated to our students’ learning and success, as well as the success of our community.  We are a member of the North Hennepin Chamber of Commerce, we sponsor the Twins, Wild, Timberwolves, Swarm, and St. Paul Saints, and we take every opportunity we can to volunteer at local organizations.
