Three staff members from the Wausau campus joined together to paint the restroom facilities at the HeadStart child care facility in Marathon County mid-August.
HeadStart contacted the campus for help since it has volunteered the past two years. Regional Community Manager Kim Boyce, and Wausau campus program managers Susie Krause and Tina Wojciehowski both participated this year.
“Susie and I really enjoyed getting out in the community to lend a hand,” Wojciehowski said. “Everyone at HeadStart was so appreciative and they thanked us many times for our service. It was also nice to see the progress that we made on the bathroom in the couple of hours that we spent painting.”
