More than 250 guests packed into the Shoreview Community Center in January for the Third Annual Leadership Networking Breakfast hosted by the Rasmussen College Blaine campus. Rasmussen College, in partnership with VOLT Workforce Solution, will be hosting a Military Service Member and Spouse Resource Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 25. The resource fair is open to the public and provides military service members and their spouses a chance to meet with potential employers, develop their job seeking skills with workshops, and learn about the benefits that are available to them.
27 million people are enslaved worldwide. Of those individuals, 80 percent are female and 50 percent are children. The average age of a child in sex trafficking is 12-to-14-years-old, according to Breaking Free Founder and Executive Director Vednita Carter. And, the problem is local. The FBI ranked Minnesota as one of 13 states for highest incidence of minors in sex trafficking.

Rasmussen College partnered with the MetroNorth Chamber of Commerce to provide an engaging and inspiring discussion with some of Minnesota's leading women professionals.
