Rasmussen College Announces More Affordable, Flexible Options for Business and Nursing Degrees
New initiatives further College’s commitment to making higher education more accessible
Minneapolis (January 28, 2015)–In an ongoing commitment to make a higher education more accessible, Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college and Public Benefit Corporation, today announced a tuition reduction and added flexibility for two of its most in-demand fields of study—business management and nursing. The College is now offering a newly redesigned Business Management Bachelor’s degree for $9,900 for students who already have an Associate’s degree in any field of study, making it one of the most affordable business degrees in the country. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, the average tuition for a two-year degree at private for-profit and not-for-profit institutions ranges in price from $27,000 to $48,000. At the same time, the College is rolling out its Flex Choice learning option to its Practical Nursing, Professional Nursing and Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) degree programs, allowing students to complete some of their general education courses in a self-paced format and at no additional cost—saving them up to 29 percent on tuition.
