The Public Accounting Program At Rasmussen College Now Available At All Minnesota Campus Locations

MINNEAPOLIS (February 9, 2012) – Rasmussen College announced today it has expanded availability of its Public Accounting degree program, launching the Bachelor’s degree program at all Minnesota college campuses, including Blaine, Bloomington, Brooklyn Park, Eagan, Lake Elmo/Woodbury, Mankato, Moorhead and St. Cloud.
Rasmussen College has partnered with Yaeger CPA Review to assist students meet the CPA licensure exam requirements. Through Yaeger’s robust online study platform, Rasmussen Accounting program students have access to thorough preparation tools for the CPA exam, incorporating Yaeger’s HomeStudy courses, online portal with access to video, Wiley CPA Review textbooks, downloadable handouts, and access to the Yaeger CPA Review Instructor Hotline.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, demand for accountants is forecast to grow rapidly over the next six years, with an increase of more than 279,000 new positions expected by 2018. The field also boasts strong income potential: accountants and auditors typically earn just over $60,000 on average with salaries that can range as high as nearly $80,000, while financial analysts earn an average of more than $73,000 with income potential of nearly $100,000 per year.
