Rasmussen College Employees and Students Give Back During Seventh Annual Community Service Day
More than 12,000 employees and students to volunteer at local organizations nationwide on Friday, July 24
Minneapolis (July 22, 2015)–Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college and Public Benefit Corporation, will give back to its local communities on Friday, July 24, during the College’s seventh annual Community Service Day. Approximately 1,200 employees and students from its 23 campuses and three central offices will volunteer during the national service day event. Through this annual effort, students and staff volunteer more than 4,000 hours in just one 24-hour period.
“Rasmussen College employees and students look forward to our annual Community Service Day every year,” said Dr. Trenda Boyum-Breen, president at Rasmussen College. “It’s a chance for the entire College to come together and give back to the communities we live and work in. Our volunteer efforts, however, are not just a one-day event. Staff and students at Rasmussen College are encouraged to give back throughout the entire year. In 2014, we donated more than 10,000 hours of community service across our campus communities.”
