Rasmussen College Names New Dean Of Nursing In Florida
Fort Myers, FL Campus Hires Nursing Industry Leader, Jacqueline Houle
FORT MYERS, Fla., (Dec. 13, 2011) – Rasmussen College has named Jacqueline Houle Dean of Nursing at its Fort Myers, FL college location. Houle brings more than 30 years of nursing experience to Rasmussen College, including strong leadership skills developed through senior-level experience at the Lee County School District’s Practical Nursing program. Her official start date is on December 19.
Houle is a nursing industry-veteran within a clinical setting, serving as nursing staff leadership and as a training and development head. Jackie first joined Rasmussen College in September 2011 as a full-time instructor, where she quickly distinguished herself as a passionate student advocate by building additional clinical opportunities, developing inroads with key clinical partner targets, and receiving our first community nursing scholarship. In her new role, she will report to the Florida Regional Dean of Nursing, Gail Dolan.
“Jacqueline demonstrates a strong passion for quality nursing care, which will translate into building successful nursing graduates. We welcome her as the newest member of our leadership team,” Rasmussen College Fort Myers Campus Director Eric Whitehouse said. “Her addition is another boon for the quality and long-term vibrancy of our School of Nursing program in Fort Myers and our mission to send the most skilled and qualified professionals into local healthcare settings.”
Houle holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, a BSN from the University of New Hampshire, and a Diploma in Nursing from the New Hampshire Hospital School of Nursing.
Rasmussen College in Fort Myers currently offers an Associate’s in Professional Nursing degree program and an RN to BSN online program, which is also available online, among other business, technology, education, and justice studies degree programs.
