Fort Myers, Fla. (September 14, 2017)–Rasmussen College today announced plans to reopen its Fort Myers campus on Monday. The campus has been closed since Thur., Sept. 7 to allow students, faculty and staff time to prepare for Hurricane Irma and be safe. Following the storm, the campus has been struggling with power outages but has determined it will be able to resume operations Mon., Sept. 18.
The College understands many are still without power or may not be able to return to their homes due to Irma's impact. Assignment deadlines and final exams originally scheduled for this week have been pushed to next week. Students may reach out to their instructors or advisor for additional assistance. They can also call their local campus directly or the Personal Support Center at 833-606-1909.
