Chad Worden Promoted To Second In Command Of The Chisago County Sheriff's Office
Forest Lake Police Officer and Rasmussen College School of Justice Studies Online Instructor Named Chief Deputy
ST. CLOUD, Minn., (January 20, 2011) – Rasmussen College is proud to announce that School of Justice Studies online instructor Chad Worden has been appointed chief deputy of the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office, where he will lead a team of more than 90 criminal justice professionals working in patrol, corrections, dispatch, court security, civil, and records positions. Worden has served full-time as a Forest Lake police officer for several years and has experience in a variety of specialized assignments.

In his new position, Worden will work closely with the Sheriff of Chisago County, which is located approximately 40 miles north of St. Paul in Minnesota. Chisago County provides a full range of law enforcement services to nearly 50,000 citizens from Taylors Falls, Shafer, Rush City, Center City, Harris, and Stacey through three police departments.
Worden joined Rasmussen College in March 2010, bringing a strong professional and academic background in criminal justice to his position. He is currently pursuing his doctoral degree and will continue to serve as an adjunct instructor for the Rasmussen College School of Justice Studies.
