  • Where is the Eagan campus located?

    The Rasmussen University Eagan campus is at 1305 Corporate Center Drive, Eagan, situated to the south of Saint Paul in the Minnesota west community, just off Interstate 494 and Pilot Knob Road.

    No need to worry about parking—the Eagan campus is located on the first two floors of a business center that includes ample parking for a seamless commute.

    If you’re wondering what else is nearby, check out the outlet mall, Twin Cities Premium Outlets or the Mall of America, which is less than ten minutes away from campus. For football fans, the new Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, which hosts the Minnesota Vikings, is only three miles from campus—perfect for when you’d like to catch a practice during the dog days of training camp.

  • What are the healthcare labs like in Eagan?

    The Eagan campus also hosts a top-of-the-line Simulation Center and updated labs to help students become trusted medical assistants. These include an entire nursing suite created to emulate an actual hospital setting, including a simulation labor and delivery and emergency room.

  • What are the classrooms like at the Eagan campus?

    In 2021, the Eagan campus completed a move into a new facility to help accommodate large, high-tech classrooms, new computer labs and equipment, and updated labs and simulation equipment for Nursing and Health Sciences programs.

  • What exams will I qualify for to become a certified medical assistant?

    The Rasmussen University Medical Assisting Diploma program will prepare you for the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).7 Plus, the fee for the first attempt at each certification exam is included in the total program cost.8

    After our Medical Assistant program, you may also qualify to register and sit for additional certification exams (exam fees not included) through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)9:

    • CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Technician)
    • CMAA (Certified Medical Administrative Assistant)
    • CET (Certified EKG Technician)
    • CEHRS (Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist)

    Other exams or certificate/training with a Medical Assistant Diploma through the American Medical Technologist (AMT):
