Rasmussen College Expands Innovative Flex Choice Learning Option to All Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree Programs*

Flexible learning option has already helped nearly 900 students save more than a million dollars in tuition costs and graduate sooner


MINNEAPOLIS (January 21, 2016)–Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college and Public Benefit Corporation, today announced the expansion of its innovative Flex Choice® learning option to the College’s nine remaining bachelor’s and associate’s degree programs not already available with Flex Choice. Flex Choice is a pioneering learning model within the evolving realm of competency-based education (CBE). It allows students to take self-paced, competency-based courses alongside their traditional courses at no additional cost – saving them money and time. Depending on the degree program and number of self-paced courses students choose to take, they can save up to 45 percent in tuition costs when compared to the cost of taking only traditional, faculty-led courses at Rasmussen College. With this expansion, Flex Choice will be added immediately to the following programs:
