MINNEAPOLIS (June. 20, 2019) — Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, today announced its Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program earned programmatic accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).1,2 Accreditation highlights the College’s commitment to meeting rigorous education standards and signifies the MSN program has met criteria for educational quality in nursing curriculum.

The Rasmussen College Master of Science in Nursing degree program is designed to prepare motivated licensed registered nurses (RNs) who meet entrance requirements, advance their careers in Nursing leadership, management or education.The program prepares students to directly contribute to the advancement of the nursing profession in both educational and healthcare settings. Students have the opportunity to choose from two specializations: Nursing Education or Nursing Leadership and Administration.
The innovative and progressive online curriculum is built around the Essentials of Master’s Education in Nursing, a set of standards designed by the American Association of the Colleges of Nursing. Curriculum helps students unleash their potential and thrive as dynamic leaders in healthcare and educational settings. Students will build upon their baccalaureate in nursing degree in order to engage in higher level practice and leadership in a multitude of settings. The innovative curriculum focuses on in-demand skills from budgeting, scheduling and administration to instructional techniques, curriculum design, and innovative teaching and assessment strategies. The online learning environment, with flexible log-on times, was designed with working professionals in mind and allows students to take one course at a time and still graduate in as few as 18 months.3
