Rasmussen College School Of Technology Offers New Certification Options To Increase Employability Of Graduates
Academic Alliances with CompTIA, EMC Corporation and Microsoft provide in-demand skill set for careers in IT field
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (October 14, 2013) – To further prepare graduates for employment in the IT field, Rasmussen College School of Technology today announced alliances with the CompTIA® Authorized Academy Partner Program, the EMC® Academic Alliance Program and the Microsoft IT Academy Program. Through the alliances, the School of Technology increases the rigor of its curriculum and expands to offer students access to more than 20 respected industry certifications.
Rasmussen’s School of Technology faculty also receives access to academic coursework in some of the most in-demand IT fields including information storage and management, cloud computing, big data analytics and STEM-focused training and certification. In addition, these relationships enable faculty to easily stay current with their certifications.

Rasmussen College’s School of Technology offers Bachelor’s and Associate’s degrees, as well as Diploma and Certificate programs in fields such as Computer Science, Software Application Development, Information Security, Information Technology Management, Web Programming and Game and Simulation Programming. In recognition of the high value employers place on industry certifications, Rasmussen College provides all School of Technology students access to up to three certification exams and practice tests at no additional cost.
