Fashion Feeds Warmth 5K and Clothing Donation Drive
The Rasmussen College Tampa/Brandon campus teamed up with the non-profit organization, Fashion Feeds Warmth, on Cinco de Mayo to help provide properly fitted and functional clothing to infants, children, and adults worldwide.
The students, faculty, and staff donated bags and bags of clothing to start a collection varying in sizes for the organization. Fashion Feeds Warmth goes through the clothing and presents outfits to various shelters and charities in need, worldwide.
On Cinco de Mayo, a 5K was held at Ballast Point Park to raise awareness and funds for the charity. The Rasmussen College Tampa/Brandon medical assistant students volunteered their time at this event, assisting with registration and providing refreshments and snacks to the participants.
