“Our strong commitment to our students and the diverse communities we serve extends far beyond the classroom as we work to prepare students to thrive in today’s digital economy,” said Dr. Trenda Boyum-Breen, president, Rasmussen College. “We recognize traditional ways of recruiting qualified candidates can be limiting, which is why we are proud to provide an alternative, virtual career fair experience this year. This will give both employers and job seekers an exciting opportunity to connect with individuals from across the country, on their own time.”
Benefits of Attending a Virtual Career Fair
This new take on traditional career fairs eliminates potential hassles of an in-person event and allows busy job seekers to accomplish what matters most: meeting recruiters to discuss qualifications and open positions. Benefits of attending a virtual career fair include:
- No long lines to speak to employers, which allows job seekers to build their network of potential career opportunities more efficiently.
- Greater accessibility for both the job seeker and the employer. Candidates have access to employers from across the country and from a variety of in-demand fields.
- Participate from a comfortable and less intimidating environment.
- Time barriers are considerably lessened; job seekers can log in and out of the virtual platform on their own time and from anywhere.
